I can understand the frustration with that type of marketing douchebaggery, and agree that it will probably be utilized by developers on this platform like any other. I look at the Ouya mostly from a game designer's perspective and see a promising platform for various reasons, so the thought of more content

This is certainly a beautiful film.

You're worried about exclusives on an Android device "segregating the market"? Seriously?

Yeah that's what I was thinking.. the internet is an equal opportunity offender. You have to develop a thick skin to interact with people on the internet regardless of what demographics you fall under, or you'll just be upset all of the time. Feeding the trolls only makes them stronger and more determined.

You can add me to the "wouldn't care much for an apocalypse and don't fantasize about it at all" list.

Yep, I think you might be right on the money. It's pathetic when people try to parade around as being concerned with racial issues and then immediately resort to racist commentary.

I feel you. I think the fact that we tend to treasure our consciousness so much makes it challenging to imagine how it could just cease to be.

Well, if the proposed heat death of our universe is the correct, nothing really matters anyway. Everything is transitional.. it's all about the journey, not the destination ;)

I can't say for sure either, just what I feel could happen... the economy is an insanely complex system.

For some reason imagining nothingness is not too difficult for me. I just think about before I was conceived. I was nothing then.

"It gives the idea that nothing you ever did will matter."

I didn't mean circular in terms of the logic.. more so in terms of bringing it around from what you said about the economy not having the jobs to support more higher educated people. The circle was me saying well the education will create those jobs. But I digress.

I'm about to make this circular, but I think more educated people will result in more bright minds with ideas, who beget more businesses and/or industries, which ultimately begets more jobs.

It might be unavoidable to prevent civil unrest. Of course, I'd prefer to get more people out of the low skill jobs by making education more accessible.. but the criminals running our country would rather spend it on other things right now.

This is why I have a dire outlook for unskilled labor / manufacturing / etc etc .. if people think things are bad now, just wait.

Oh yeah, I've actually been thinking that fast food will be one of the first things to change when robotic automation becomes cheaper and more practical.

I'm fine with something more insect-like in nature anyway. Simpler, and more efficient for a robot if you ask me.

Wow. That image sends my imagination into a frenzy.

When did he shit in your corn flakes?
