you do realize that the vast majority of people in those camps are not wealthy right? If anything we should be advocating for more of this kind of prison for most non violent offenders.

These looked much nicer before they squared up the C-pillar. Find me one like this in true mint condition and the price might be more reasonable.
sub-$5K all day this is NP. Good car - but not $8500 good.
But it is a unique Corvette, one with a fascinating backstory and unusual equipment that makes it one-of-one.
$66k for a “blank slate” just reminds me that there are a lot of people with a lot more money than I have.
If I wanted a CRV, why would I want one that’s damn near as big as a Pilot? Can’t manufacturers keep their models the same goddamn size? How hard is that? I don’t want an Accord the size of an Avalon or a Civic the size of a Camry either.
People who own property in Atherton don’t understand the difference between 8k and 80k. They never see less than 5x zeros on a pay check, purchase price, etc.
Property values so high, and you’re scamming like, I don’t know, $8,000 car.
we need more sports cars without giant ipads on the dash
Look if they would have had the rollbar and made the top like the original Jimmy, it would look 100% better. Except for the fact the is still a 2023 GMC and looks ugly as fuck along with every other full size truck on the road.
Considering what dickish ways it’s constantly in the news for how Kia/Hyundai treat their customers, it’d be a cold day in hell before I bought used or new from them. ND to the 10th power.
Problem here is that earlier EVs will and have aged quite poorly in just a few short years. It would be a more compelling buy at 10-15k with the ~125 mile range, but as some other commenters have noted, you could buy a Bolt for not that much more.
y’know, 30 minutes ago I may’ve said NP.. but after reading the article about how I can get a new ‘23 hybrid Corolla with zero miles (and a warranty!) for less that $2k more than this 4-year-old Hyundai with 69k miles? CP, all day long.
ND. Not because this is a bad car or anything, but because the Bolt costs a few grand more and can be had brand new with more capability. If you’re on the used market, a used Leaf will have similarly weak range vs the newest EVs, but is way cheaper. I don’t see a reason to spend $20k on this car.
Wait, you hate wagons? What’s your stance on shooting brakes? Do you also avoid avants? How about estates? Are they estimable? Could a touring turn the tide?
I think they are pretty difficult swaps. As I understand it, on the W126 cars it’s tough, and there is a lot of room under that hood. So it’s definitely impressive work.
Those exhaust tips look bigger than what you get on a super car… I think the rear bumper treatment is a little overdone, and detracts from what would otherwise be a fairly elegant design (by todays standards of everything must look angry).
I think they should all drive a Ford Transit Connect. Good visibility, plenty of room in the back, and any cops who rage quit over it are probably upside.
I was thinking $8k, but just for the unique factor.
Solid ND. This isn’t worth more than $10,000. The mods do not add value. The seller is suffering from some serious wishful thinking.
