Actually, no, just pulled over for no reason and harassed too many times to count.

It’s really more of a casserole anyway

oh god, I’ve wondered what it looks like when I go to start my car after forgetting to plug in the block heater during a MN winter. I’ll make sure to apologize to the engine next time.

As someone from the area, implementing some sort of TSA bullshit around the bridges would reduce quality of life for people on both sides of the bridges, reduce tourism dollars, and probably end up in POC being harassed by BP even more.

It amazed me (and them, really) how little is done to protect the Bridge. Things probably have changed (maybe?) but basically anyone can sail right under that bad boy.

Same here, family still lives on Anchor Bay. The shit stain local pigs were bad enough that I grew up with a deep distrust of the police, and the BP presence made it worse.

I could see a rich dude dropping $200k, but $20M seems pretty nuts.

I can find proper used RVs at this seller’s asking price.

My point is that reading an article about a 30-minute delay and then going to the comments to bitch about tax dollars is fucking deranged. In the time since you made this comment, MTA got tens of thousands of people to somewhere on time.

Okay, now look into that 36%. Most of those are commercial taxes, like I said.

What? How many tax dollars are going to MTA unions? Please, explain.

Only a small amount of MTA funding comes from personal taxes. Most of the funding is from fares, and of the tax dollars they receive, most of them are from commercial petroleum and real estate taxes. You can argue that at some point these things are passed onto the general public, but it’s a real fucking stretch to

How did you make the jump to tax dollars from this?

Likewise

Cool story

Why not support both e-bikes and public transit? It doesn’t have to be an either/or scenario.
