I am baffled by the amount of questions/threads on car forums that could easily be answered by an OEM manual. Some OEMs are better than others in regard to R&R and system description, of course, but it’s generally worth tracking down an OEM manual for a project car of any kind. Unfortunately, most (all?) OEMs don’t…

I missed out on this feature by one model year on my Focus and I wish I had it because there’s no way to disable the fucking obnoxious double honk if you close the door with the fob in your pocket while you’re outside the vehicle. Being able to leave the fob in the car and lock the door would be great.

Supercruise also seems to be the only competitive offering to Autopilot. Though more limited in features, GM doesn’t recklessly overpromote it as ‘autonomous’ like Tesla does.
