Cadillac has a well-established history of not following through on concept cars, and it is pathetic to release this not-even-fully-done concept for a 2022 model year vehicle that isn’t introducing any groundbreaking tech for the industry (even if it is new for GM). The hate is deserved here, wtf is Cadillac doing?

What I’m saying though is a car manufacturer is going to be less good at everything related to that than a tech company

I linked to the McKiney report. All I’m saying is that it goes far beyond infotainment/what you’d cover with Android OS or iOS.

It’s not just OnStar, though. GM’s in-car app marketplace opens up the car to digital marketing. Automakers are selling data to insurance companies. Companies like Solera are looking to leverage all this data in the auto repair industry. There are a ton of data points in a vehicle that you can’t get on a phone.

What? If anything, that’s one thing he’s correct about. GM’s OnStar has a margin of 30%-35%, which is insane, and I’d bet a big part of that is the data that the system collects. I have to imagine Ford’s Sync system and AT&T partnership would net similar margins. Stuff like this is the future as far as shareholders

Seems like it would make more sense to just get a Transit over a 4-door crew-cab model. Not sure what you could put in that bed that wouldn’t just fit in the van. A regular cab (or extended cab with the jumpseats like the old Rangers)/longer bed would be fucking dope, though.

me saying ‘slowly getting back to normal’ != me saying ‘other countries are back to normal’

god damn it sucks watching other countries slowly getting back to normal while we just shoot ourselves in the foot over and over and over

oh my god that makes way more sense

one might think Punisher stickers are a factory Jeep option with how prevalent they are

seriously $200 is cheap for a decent bike

what the fuck are you talking about

looks like it-

am I signing up for never-ending spam emails and physical mailers at my address with this?

your anger is palpable and I am thriving on it this morning

to be clear, this is not what you’d fill a cannoli shell with. This does sound great, but cannoli cream /= pudding.

That’s because anyone who willingly claims to be a libertarian probably hasn’t graduated high-school yet and can’t even vote
