Good.
Good.
This post stresses me out; it’s just too real.
There’s no tax (I think, something like that) in Montana, which is why so many exotics get registered there. On a car like this, it doesn’t really make sense, though. Maybe it was registered there way back in the day when it was far more valuable and nobody ever moved it to a different state. Wonder how this would…
Anecdotal, but a relative that works at the GM Tech Center in Warren refers to it as a Corvette but said that internally it’s just under a generic project name and assembly, etc., has been very secretive, with temporary room dividers set up specifically for it. If you’re not on the project, you don’t know anything,…
Nice to see development of new V8s, even if it is turbo’d. Hopefully the rest of the car is competitive.
I’m not ragging on him for being rich, but I am going to rag on him for acting like it didn’t affect him or get him to where he is today. Fuck that.
Money can buy you the equipment, and more importantly, the opportunity and time to acquire those skills in the first place, though. That’s a fucking massive benefit. For example, buying a racing simulator that can’t be used by anyone else on your team.
After years in the auto repair industry I swore I’d never own a VW product, but damn, this might change my mind.
In what regard? There’s less of them on the road, sure, but bike emissions can be pretty terrible.
I don’t know, I’d say the Euro exhaust is actually better, considering it’s more strict. We need to cut back on emissions.
That has more to do with Euro4/5 emissions than sound, though.
I don’t understand how a car can be too small for any particular area. As someone who grew up in the suburbs and now lives in a city center, small cars were still more fun to drive than an SUV in the suburbs.
Not sure how far you guys want to go with this concept, but you might want to consider a subscription to Identifix. The company that bought them out a few years ago, Solera, is fucking terrible, but Identifix is still an incredible resource for diagnostic and repair info.
Definitely something to this; it’s been years since I’ve had an old bike or car that actually required work, and consequently I don’t spend any time in the garage. I like my newer, trouble-free, superior-in-almost-every-way bike and car, but other than actually driving them there’s nothing to do with them. Funny how…
I suspect this has far less to do with buying living beyond their means than it does with manufacturer’s lining their pockets. Those twelve bulb LED headlights, shitty infotainment systems, seat memories, etc., are all a great way to add thousands to the MSRP while costing far less to produce. Cheap cars don’t please…
Whatever your car is , it definitely has a good amount of service intervals between 0-200k miles, whether or not you choose to ignore them.
fuck me, this is incredible
As incredible of a machine as this is, its appearance is so boring.
If your number one issue is the Koch brothers
Kind of a no brainer, especially when they were already working towards the old standards.
