This thing is wicked cool - I didn't know there was a firefox extension too!

@dcdttu: Froyo made my N1 just as smooth as an iPhone - even while running apps in the background.

The pacmac live wallpaper on Android is better - and it moves :).

@geolemon: Except I don't think this one moves.

Why not just take the phone back to where you got it and call it a day?

So fart noise apps are ok, but this isn't? Because of minimal user functionality?

@imac20c2d: Oddly enough this issue affected more than just Dell machines - most any machine that had a Intel reference motherboard had these faulty components. I guess if you've ever had the capacitors die on a Mac you'll know :).

Keep in mind its 700 volts AC and hundreds of amps going over so called "low voltage" main supply power lines. If the transformer on that little hook decided to short through you'd be fried.

@Arfdog: So the video record thingy doesn't work on my Nexus 1? Even my N97 took really good quality video.

@Bluecold: And that's probably based off an Intel reference design where the trace lengths must be exact.

Having read much about Steve this conversation is TOTALLY believable.

@styfle: Except this is a real engine - not a video. I tried it - it generates random maps for as long as you care to stare at it.

@owais.ilyas: Hmm - I have a EPE54B and while I got a notification that checkin was successful nothing happened. Ah well.

You could build yourself your own case with ducttape too. Simple wrap the entire phone several times in duct tape, then cut out holes for the buttons and screen - done.

@Tiger-Fever: My nexus one survived a one foot drop...

@vgrfx: I'm pretty sure you have to pay that weather you are in a 4g area or not.

So 687$ to insure a 700$ phone? I'm not a professional gambler, but I think I'd rather take the chance on taking care of my phone and not breaking it.

@iComment10: Carriers will always be the major hurdle in moving these devices forward. I do applaud Apple working out the deal with AT&T however in letting people upgrade their phones for relatively cheap every revision.

@DarthMonkey: Isn't that the wonderful thing about the open market? You can leave a comment on the marketplace and move on to a new app.

So to tell the time you have to open the cassette up?
