Local dealer is doing 25% off Rams. If they're all as great as the commercials day they were they could sell without rebates.

As a percentage of sticker, that's not particularly impressive.

This is what irks me... even mainstream-badged SUVs and pickups easily crest into the $50-70k+ pricerange these days. That kind of “every day” purchase price for a “family” vehicle is completely unsustainable, economically.

And it still looks overpriced. And ugly.

And also, like it or not, the fact that it looked like a car half its price.

It’s also way better in traffic. I can fit in spots they can’t, and I can out-brake them as well so when the moron on a cell phone in front of me panic brakes I don’t rear-end them.

Most of my coworkers drive trucks or SUVs, I drive a Golf R. When we go out to lunch and I drive they comment on how jealous they are that I can just park it wherever with basically no effort.

Yeah I see Civic hatches by the droves daily. I would say the polarizing still has actually helped, not hindered.

The styling (in general) has likely hampered sales.

The Accord Sport 2.0t isn’t a base model.

Yeah, but then you look like some 3rd world country dictator.

I love that Honda leaned into the tuner look. It gives the car soul, I think.

Sane answers? Kia Niro PHEV for a smaller car or an Honda Accord Hybrid for a larger car.

Problem is, no one was buying the last gen NSX either, even as much as people clamor and overpay for used ones today. After 1992, the sales numbers dropped by half and continued to steadily peter out until in 2006 when they sold just 58, and 2 in 2007, which were the remaining lot.

If you think anything other than a DC2 Integra Type-R is worthless, as you seem to imply by your criteria, then yeah. Times change. But modern Honda still offers a lot of compelling products. I could list them here, but I don’t think I can change your mind, so there’s no point.

I have a 2019 SI coupe.  Perfect size.  The suspension is great - not sure what you mean by that.  As for the styling - that’s a matter of personal preference.  And the engine is fantastic.

Cue all the people who bought one saying they haven’t had any issues and every bad word about an Alfa is just a giant conspiracy

Paying over $600 a month for a Hyundai Santa Fe is madness. Just in my opinion.

EXACTLY! That is why I have a F-350 Super Duty dually. My wife wanted me to get some pummelos at the store, those things are big, BAM F-350!
