my God, Gestalt was hilarious! That you said "no" to ennui as a suggestion for your characters to find "real emotion" (and to sidestep a smartass audience member) was brilliant!

This advice is spot-on. I just spent the last year looking for a new job. I got caught off-guard a couple of times early-on when a potential employer called and I picked up. I didn't come off as well prepared (because I wasn't), and I think that cost me further consideration for a few positions.
I got an Onyko TX-NR515 and I'm very happy with it. The box itself is ugly as sin, but the internet services work great on it, and I like that I can use the iOS app to turn zone 2 on when I'm outside.
In terms of tech, I could use a new laptop. I have an older Dell running Vista that has a very annoying problem with the screen. I'm going to wait until Windows 8 laptops start coming out, then compare those to the Macbook.
I don't have unlimted texting, because it's too expensive to be worth it to me. I used to have a 200 texts plan that was cheap and fit my needs perfectly, but AT&T did away with it. So now I pay as I go, which means I send fewer texts than I used to.
My face wash does a number on my facial hair, so I condition my beard regularly to repair the damage.
Did a quick google search and came up with this article from Kotaku, which links to another article: [kotaku.com]
Great idea! Now your neighbor can continue to ignore you and also get some kudos when they post it on www.passiveaggressivenotes.com.
That's a really good point. I get tired of doing the same routine all of the time, so I like to mix it up. If I don't want to run, I'll do laps in the pool. If I want to be outside, I'll play tennis. If I feel like I'm getting too stiff, I'll do yoga. I enjoy all of that stuff, so it's not a chore to get out and…
Oh God, the metal burns, AAAH! Oh, PLASTIC frames. Oops.
Shopping in DE is no secret to people from southeastern PA. We made out bandits when my wife and I used the gift cards from our wedding across the border. I get all of my major purchases (and alcohol) there. Amazon has warehouses in PA, but they don't charge sales tax. Other sites (like Tire Rack and Newegg)…
I got a 10" and 12" Calphalon Contemporary non-stick for my wedding. A year later and they're still great. The two come bundled for $50 at Bed Bath & Beyond ($40 after the 20% off coupon)
Can you use it on nonstick?
Like many people, I have to use IE at work, so I'm extremely happy that MS has apparently improved it.
His monitor is growing another monitor out of it.
Also, I get discounts on Apple products - AppleCare included - through my company, so check that out before you buy, too.
I hate iTunes, but I have a Mac and an iPhone. So whaddya gonna do?
I use a thumbtack on my cube wall. Works great.
I like the Chili Peppers, but I'm not interesting in playing 20+ songs of theirs in one game.
