Actually, Jeep switched to coil springs on the TJ wrangler. The last Wrangler with leaf springs was the YJ which ended production in 1994. The YJ never had a "Rubicon" trim level.

Actually, the Wranglers (all of them: TJ, JK, LJ, Unlimited, Rubicon) have had coil springs since 1997.
