I hate it. To me it looks like they’re making it a math equation (substitute ___ for “x”) and nothing linguistic. I prefer Latin@ because you just automatically read the appropriate gender. Same with sending a message to a group of friends and addressing them “amig@s”...

I wish I knew. I personally do not use “Latinx” and neither does anyone I know. It doesn’t feel right to me, but I don’t care if others use it...although to be honest, I’ve only seen it on the internet.
