Yall remember that time Elon had someone “try to kidnap” his kid to get the Elonjet one removed? Pepperidge farm remembers.

Especially with the significant depreciation we are seeing on these luxury and premium EVs, it makes a lot more sense to shop in the used or CPO market.
2nd: Would actually be kinda curious what this conversation is like among people who know better than Dolt 45. In a country where owning an automobile is practically a necessity for the majority of the population, and where people get to write off taxes for less essential things, it sort of begs the question why this…
I’m contemplating buying some Lucid and Rivian stock. I think a lot of people who would otherwise buy a Tesla are going to take a very close look at these brands now that Elon Musk has gone full Joseph Goebbels on us.
Until you sit in the Wagoneer. That plastic trim is ass.
The old VW bus was especially known for being cheap and usable. This is like the car version of a 70s hippie that became a curmudgeon boomer executive.
The 05 Phaeton W12 had an MSRP just south of 100 grand. The Arteon is 45-50k depending on spec. VW hasn’t limited themselves to budget cars in a long time. And frankly no VW is a “people’s car” anymore - the demand constant thorough maintenance beyond what most Japanese cars require, they eat oil like it’s canapes at…
This vehicle is antithetical to VW. There is no such thing as a $70k “people’s car”. VW has always offered style at a premium but within their own models that uniquely styled vehicles have never been significantly more expensive than the platforms they were based on. The new beetle certainly had unique styling and…
They are taller station wagons, but not that much taller. They don’t even pretend to be off-road. My EV replaced a special model station wagon and my metric was its ability to haul kids with their backpacks or hockey bags as the season demanded.
Yeah it is disappointing because when EVs first started getting popular they were normally sedan style or hatch backs. However even EV’s with their range focused aero dynamics have fallin to the SUVs.
I loved watching The Daily Show just relentlessly ravage Cramer over the years.
When I was younger, I thought his show was satire that too many people were taking seriously, like The Colbert Report. Blew my mind to learn this guy is supposed to be a legit financial advisor.
FROSTY MARKET
I was one of the morons that put a deposit on one of these pieces of garbage. I took the refund when it became apparent that Muskrat wouldn’t hold the initially promised price, and the quality was going to shit. Then he went all nazi.
No matter what it looked like at the intro, the performance per dollar was amazing…
My current ape like perception of the EV market right now: I don’t want any car that can’t use the Tesla Supercharger network. I don’t want any car built by Tesla due to their build quality, UI decisions, and customer support reputation.
You would go apoplectic if you truly understood fossil fuel subsidies.
He’s as good a businessman as Trump is, which is to say, he’s a terrible businessman. Musk has been railroaded out of businesses before because of how bad he is. Both men are often surrounded by others who work to shield them from the consequences of their terrible business decisions. Trump has generally been…
Did he also tell you to give them 10/10 ratings because anything lower “doesn’t count”?

Haha, I can vouch for the “Wagoneer Certified” experience being hot garbage.
First off, the few dealers around me selling Wagoneers are just regular schmucky CDJR dealers. Sleaze and all.
I bought a Grand Cherokee, but checked out the Wagoneers just for fun. Beautiful vehicle. HUGE, $$$$. Look to be competing with…
