Does “standard” oil change mean regular dino and not synthetic?  If so id consult your owners manual before doing this.  Anything turbo charged I wouldnt run regular oil in. 

If standard oil changes means non synthetic... Id check your owners manual first. If your car requires synthetic... Id offer to pay the difference. I wouldnt go regular oil even for free on my car if I could avoid it.

You could be setting aside your car payment after its paid off for repairs?  Harder to do that as easily with a few hundred dollar a month payment for some id imagine.

I find it scarier that you could have a car payment for several years without a warranty still being in effect on the car potentially.
