I’m a parent of a pair of Gen Zs.

We can laugh at this, but “sovereign citizenry” is at its heart a grift on the same level as peddling nonsense cures for autism.

Dunning-Kruger in full effect.

The few sovereign citizens I have met share a common trait. The unearned confidence of an imbecile.

“Has YOUR car recently been engulfed in flames and rammed with a Subaru??? Come to the collision experts at CrashChampions!”

The Ford LTD. “LTD.” Limited. It’s a “limited” edition. What did they make, fifty million of those? “Yes, it’s ‘limited’ to the number we can sell.”

If you find yourself at any point asking the question on facebook or reddit “what kind of oil should I use?” just go ahead and sell the project... this isn’t going to go well for you.

You forgot the most important one. One (as in singular) project at a time.

This would’ve been great advice 25 years ago when I attempted a frame-off resto of a ‘69 Stingray roadster (with zero experience in such things). That project was so far over my head, I never should’ve even considered it. I got pretty far with it before bailing and selling for a loss. Got some great photos from it,

Dad probably knew not to lose the 10mm socket too. Or he just kept a few spares.

That is accurate. I live in south Florida and every year it gets worse. We live in a villa and the HOA fees cover the exterior of the structure. We only need insurance for interior and we still have a hard time getting insurance. We’re in a no-flood zone, as evidenced over the last 30+ years of literally no flood

It wasn’t Amazon that was giving her the runaround. It was an insurance company. A lot of insurance companies do the same thing.

There’s a Zimmer Quicksilver in SE Atlanta i see from time to time. The driver looks an ‘80s Don Johnson-wannabe, plus 40 years or so.

It’s an incredibly important piece of history and has the possibility of generating huge revenue for the City. If there is (and it seems clear that this is the case) any opportunity to preserve it, they absolutely need to.

Maybe it was nerves or shock, but wasn’t the woman smiling pretty much the whole time? I wonder if this involved alcohol. Don’t drink and GPS, kids.

its terrifying to know that people like this are on the road, driving. that’s why parents always said “look out for the other guy” when I'd drive away... no matter how good of a driver you are, nothing will protect your from a bad driver.

It’s almost like sanctions are put in place for a reason. Like, maybe it’s to punish people with strong ties to governments who invade others countries.

The scary part is it uses Jaguar V12 ignition systems. Dahm is playing with fire.

Fuel, fine dining... and toothpaste.

Nah.
