I just asked for a raise. A pretty hefty one, too. Like, 33%. I know that sounds crazy but I haven’t gotten a raise in over 4 years and I’m woefully underpaid as it is, so 33% isn’t actually that much money. I’m also prepared to walk out of this job at any second so I’m not stressing too much about it.

I’m seriously thinking about making a huge career change from graphic design to healthcare. I’ve pretty much burned out on design as a job (I still enjoy making art for myself) and I’m really considering going back to school and getting an associate’s in sonography.
