Holy crow that's awful. I cannot fathom my mother telling me that or even me telling Little Who that.
Is your dad's name Guy or are you just keeping it anonymous? Because if it is that's awesome because my dad's name is Guy and I have always thought it was the coolest π
That's pretty much how Little Who's father and I am. I had her at 16 and her dad was 18. She has always known we never lived together and were never married. She's 11 now and asks about how old we were when she was born. I tell her the truth and that she was a surprise and an early birthday present. She was born twoβ¦
My sister recently found out she is pregnant and is treating it the same way. They want kids but it's about a year or so too early in their "timeline". She had previous medical issues and is just worried a miscarriage will happen. She's about 12 weeks and is still debating about telling extended family. She referredβ¦
I had Little Who at 16 and the news was obviously not taken with excitement and pride. When my sister told me she sounded exactly how I did when I had told her so many years ago.
My sister is the same way. She's very antisocial and hates being in the spotlight. Her husband is the same so they both are keeping things quiet for now.
We really need to work on the stigma that you HAVE to be excited. My sister found out last month that she was pregnant and her reaction, along with her husbandβs, was pretty much the above and that wasa mixture of feeling scared and the realization that you will be responsible for a tiny human.
I have a friend who worked at a Mediterranean restaruant for a while. She loved working there because it was super small and run by one family. They offer amazing pita bread like other restaurants offer any bread. One day, she was recounting her days there while we were enjoying the pita bread and hummus. She thenβ¦
Ha! Mr. Who and I's initials are the same too. That's a great idea π
My brother, sister and I were traveling to our grandparents and stopped at a Waffle House. As the waitress came up, a fly started buzzing around the table. The waitress calmly reached out, lightning quick, and snatched the fly, squished it and then rubbed it on her apron. Without missing a beat she asked for our drinkβ¦
Yea everyone is pretty safe and most of our friends know how to keep their maker weapons peace-tied. The only "injury" was when I fell out of the carriage π£
This is my story too! My was SHORT.
I am surprised there was no blood drawn at our wedding. Not only was it at a Renaissance Festival but Mr. Who received a sword from my dad. I'm kind of disappointed my guests were so well behaved because I have nothing to share on this one π’
I told Mr. Who that I didn't want an audience. The Christmas after that he gave me a small white box with a hand written "I heart you" on it. We were at his aunt's house, surrounded by his family but nobody was looking. He was standing near me, waiting for me to open it. It looked like a ring box and my heart was inβ¦
A couple we are friends with (L and M) have been talking about marriage and proposing. They keep trying to think of the perfect way to propose to each other without the other one realizing what they are planning. But they know each other so well that they kept guessing what the other was planning. L finally got fed upβ¦
While these are better with minor weights, you can do the exercises without and it will be merely toning but slower results.
The hotel we were at had complimentary breakfast. I ate a little more than usual because I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to really sit down and eat. Good thing too because my mom was shoving glasses of wine in my hand by 10:30 am.
The only wedding site I ever needed:
