They sell these at a liquor store here in Atlanta. They are definitely disgusting but such a cool idea! Sadly, the flavor ruins the idea entirely.

@Greenturtlmonstr: Concise, well-thought comment. However, the quote isn't really the object at hand here. It's whether or not the Air is, in fact, a netbook. (Hint: It's not.)

@reuthermonkey: Core2Duo may be outdated, but not underpowered. An Atom processor is underpowered. It can hardly run YouTube videos in full screen. My macbook has a core2duo. It's a big boy laptop. So yes, for today's standard, it lacks the power of a full laptop. But it's a midpoint. Still, NOT a netbook.

@DreamTheEndless: It's what Jesus does. He has a propensity for flamewars. Great for a senior editor of a reputable tech blog to do.

@jsbaugh1: Except that Jesus is the biggest self-proclaimed Apple nerd out there. He has a tendency to post flame-bated posts, unfortunately. I don't like to quibble over stupid things, but sometimes, the posts just don't have any merit.

I'm a little confused. Is the Macbook Air supposed to be like a netbook? I thought it was just an ultraportable laptop. It's not as underpowered as a netbook, right? It has a full sized keyboard, full, proper version of an OS (most netbooks run a skimmed version of Windows or Linux), yes it has lower storage capacity

@daveinmn: Jesus doesn't speak English as a first language, as far as I know. So there are often grammar mistakes. No biggie, as long as the content is intact.

I think it's funny that the numbers are showing up as hashtags. I want to know more about this "#6"!

@Hvedhrungr: It's a forward thinking OS. With eyes to the future, it's created to work with future macs and most current macs. Like the MBP's. Multitouch is built in. And who knows what there will be by next summer when it's released.

@blub: If you dont get it, then you just don't get it.

This is really awesome. Still crossing my fingers that I'll see space face to face before I die.

@D0ct3r: It was on Gizmodo. Gawker shares things.

@mattjp03: Preferrably Stride Layers.

@jddf: we sure do.

This is where working for Marble Slab comes in handy. I just crank up their $18,000 mixer and make whatever flavors I want. Store doesnt care. I may not have benefits but at least I have Jack Daniels Ice cream!

@vinod1978: Paying for property that belongs to someone else, while knowing it is the property of someone else, is paying for stolen property. It is not a grey area. Crime. And they only returned it to apple when asked through extortion ("will return it ONLY if you admit it's yours in public view").

The cencorship on this site is ridiculous. Why dont you guys like it when someone reminds you that you commited a crime and bragged about it all over the internet? You did it. Man up, Gizmodo. Stop moving everyones comments that involve reminding you. Can't do the time, don't do the crime, right?
