I had an Oldsmobile Alero that started itself in the middle of the night. We had left it in the driveway for a few days while my daughter was born and it was snowy/icy. And then one night I heard the radio go on full blast and the engine start. Being exhausted new parents we decided that whatever moron car thief we

The content is good on the features and special stuff but the beat writing is no better than any local source (they’ve taken multiple beat writers from here in Kansas City and I’m pretty sure no one was sad to see them go). But the app is a mess, I don’t want to swipe down past 50 updates in Alabama football just to

I played singles vs a 65 year old woman when I was 26. She beat me like a drum. I ran and ran and ran while she barely moved 10 feet the entire set. So Federer would have to be dead and creamated for me to beat him.

I have to throw in a plug for Jazzy B's. It's pretty new but the ribs are amazing and they have these brown sugar cinnamon fries that are outstanding. Joe's is obviously the place to go but it's pretty hard to go wrong with almost any of them. For a first timer I'd avoid Zarda and Plough Boys.

2 relatively new car family here (2017 Jetta sport and 2018 Tiguan), and I can tell how we got there and why. 1 we drove our 2004 Honda Odyssey that we got used to 250,000 miles. It was great but the interior was shot after 2 kids, the motor mounts were nonexistent after the 1st set was replaced at 100k miles, and the

Because he owns a stake in the station.

I live in KC and know people who will attest to how horrible of a human being Kietzman is. And on top of that he is a horrible radio host even by the low standards of sports talk radio. He is boring, self obsessed, and frequently wrong. My favorite was how he talked up former Jackson county executive Mike Sanders

“What are you smoking? How about you just start clicking on random Facebook ads to help Facebook make money?”

VW Tiguan, seats 4 easy, I'm 6 ft and fit in the back seat with tons of room. All-wheel drive SE can be had for well under 30 grand and with the 6 year 72k mile warranty maintenance isn't an issue

I am 98% sure that on our VW,s (2017 Jetta Sport and 2018 Tiguan) that the car goes ballistic if the key leaves when it is running. I mean the car doesn’t shut off but it starts dinging and flashing “No Key” on the dash. It would be pretty hard to pull a drive off without the keys and not notice. I just assumed

You may be on to something with the CVT comment. I don’t get headaches easily but a 5 minute ride in a 1st gen rogue had me looking for the aspirin. It made a buzzing noise that just wiped me out. Not all CVTs are bad but Nissan’s makes considering their vehicles a nonstarter. Well, that and some of their atrocious

0% the speedbumbs are 6 inches. A 2017 stock Jetta has 5.2 inches of clearance and the gli is 4.9 for that year. And many other passenger cars are in that same range. So not only is he a moron for complaining when it's his car that's lowered he's also too stupid to know the difference between 3 and 6 inches.

VW does the exact same thing. With my wife’s Tiguan they basically begged us to give them all 5's though now that I think about it I don’t think either of us actually received the survey, so oh well.

So from reading these comments approximately 85% of Jalopnik readers are “get off my lawn”/“danged kids these days” years old. I will gladly admit that the infotainment system is now a deciding factor in my purchase. No android auto no dice. I have sirius xm to keep the wife happy but if I’m in the car by myself its

In my view VW had the potential to have it right when it launched its new system with the 2018 Tiguan and then they blew it. The 6.5 in screen that they used in the Jetta and other stuff was made of a material that didn’t show fingerprints unless they were truly filthy. And it had physical buttons for things like

I have a home hub above my stove and it's awesome. I use it for recipes all the time. And at least on the home hub there is a save button.

The green one looks like a mid engine Tesla Model 3, or a frog. you pick.

Its ugly, just ugly but not at first glance. At first glance its shiny and BLACK and it looks like it would be Batman’s daily driver. But I challenge you to look closely at it particularly from the side. Once you see that it is two different cars you won’t be able to unsee it. The first 3/5 (from the front to the back

No worries, after I posted it I couldn’t find where I had made the full speed replay comment before and I had a momentary panic moment that I had, gasp, told a lie on the internet. But i found it and I went back to feeling morally superior and smart so its all good now.
