“Tyrion Lannister is now a writer in Canada.”

Way, way late to the party, but hats off to the Homicide reference. I loved that show so damn much.

On a related note, in the last few years there have been a handful of Colonel Sanders comic books, set in the DC Universe. They are surpisingly weird and entertaining, and last I checked they were free on comixology.

I had the same thought. If I hadn’t already known who it was, I would’ve sworn it was Carvey behind that beard.

I’d heard it done with Emily Dickinson and the “Gilligan’s Island” theme.

Oddly, I got hooked on the series after Sword of Shannara was assigned in a 9th grade English class. I was furious at that teacher a couple years later when I finally got around to Fellowship of the Ring.

Sweet Jesus, why did I just google that?

Yes, it starts in September 1958, according to the label on Midge’s bootleg party record (and a couple other things).

I haven’t gotten a chance to make my run this week (stupid time with friends and family), but I’m really excited for this one.

Ha, knowing Forge there’s probably about a thousand high-tech doodads that can pop out of that wrench like a giant Swiss Army knife.

Honestly, I never got the hatred for their pizza. It’s not really my first choice, but I always thought it was far better than most of the giant chain pizza places

It shouldn’t be a movie, so much as a long string of really weird and awesome scary drawings.

Tamaki’s run has really grown on me, though the messing with titles and numbers bothers me more than it should, for some reason.

Neither have I, but like I said, God willing it stays that way.

I’m way late on this one, but I misread that as “Adrian Brody as the Flash”. Now THAT would be interesting, albeit in the worst possible way.

These days it’s impossible to say, but Fuller is apparently ok. God willing.

I had never heard of that, although I have to say that “ ‘Allo ‘Allo” is just about the most fake-sounding name for a show I’ve ever heard. It sounds like it’s from a Christopher Guest movie or something.

Shkreli bought an Enigma machine? Did he think he could still get secret messages from Hitler on it?

Indeed I have, it was on Netflix (maybe still is? I’m not sure) and since Curtis Mayfield’s soundtrack is one of my all-time favorite albums, I thought I’d give it a shot.

Thanks, I’ll check that out.
