Thanks for the extra information but a lot of what you wrote is actually explicitly in the article and none of it is in opposition to what you've posted. So I'm not sure why you had to start with calling it "shit" exactly.

Don't sweat it. As debilitating as depression can be, mood disorders are a different sort of beast than psychotic disorders and I thought it was clear what you meant.

I could possibly muster a little bit of enthusiasm for this given that the 'Inside' team involved, but what appears to be the premise basically kills what's interesting about Leatherface. The original presents him not as some sort of violent maniac who can't resist the urge to kill, but as a scared and confused

See, I'd say if your primary approach to the game is simply saying terrible things whenever possible then you're not really putting a lot of thought into your answers or taking advantage of what the game is trying to offer. The opportunities for bizarre non-sequitors, surreal imagery, wordplay, and overly literal

My thought as well. Good quality salmon that you'd actually be inclined to eat this way is not cheap either. This is probably closer to letting princes eat like kings.

Yeah, that one should have been caught by the common sense test. You'd need to go through nearly 2 standard bottles of Heinz ketchup a week to reach that milestone.

Hmm, that's a pretty good argument.

I have yet to see anyone make an argument for other sorts of shorts. Anti cargo short missives in my experience are always made as a short hand against shorts of all kinds and cargos are just the posterboy for some reason.

I can't get my head around the thought process of feeling strongly about what is and isn't a cool record player in this context. I mean, obviously you're not going to stock the rooms with some sort of fancy high end equipment for jabronis to spill vodka tonics on all night.

This is a side note but for the life of me I don't understand the snark that cargo shorts get. They just seem completely inoffensive and it gets damn hot out in the summer in much of the world.

That part is indeed, unfortunately, very true :(

He almost made it all the way through his life without getting called on it.

I know people who I can only describe as social or partying cocaine users. They keep it around and take a few sniffs when they start feeling tired to keep them going. They binge on occasion, but not in a way that's different from your average drinker having too many beers on the weekend now and again.

Very much agree with pretty much all of that.

Deaf culture does not view being deaf as a disability.

I'd just say that most people doing evil things don't consider themselves evil, so I don't think that fact gives them any special dispensation. Especially given that they are not completely blind to the truth of their circumstances, even if they don't have the whole picture.

I don't disagree with your point that the show is trying very hard to avoid having things be black and white. But I don't agree at all that "doing it for their country" is somehow a more noble or excusable rationale.

Great post. And regarding being the bad guys, If you haven't seen this, you will probably enjoy it :)

Gasp. Nobody ever feels strongly about things they don't like.

I think it's probably just a matter of it being more note-worthy in metal (especially satanic-panic era metal) since it seems like such a sharp turn from the image.
