I live in a coastal area of Los Angeles. I’m from here. I lived in San Diego for a while. Let’s make a deal - you don’t tell me when it is appropriate to wear sandals and I won’t make fun of you when you wear floral printed boardshorts over boxers to the beach.
I think it’s fair to adjust for cost of living. Like another commenter said, I guess it helps to research what kind of salary you can expect for that area, too, because jobs don’t always keep up with cost of living, unfortunately. But it’s still fair to ask.
Question: does this include cost of living differences? For instance: I live in North Carolina, but am applying for jobs in MD/DC. Would that 10-20% increase be on my current NC salary, or on what the equivalent would be for the DC area (which is significantly more expensive than where I live now)?
Looks like Jim Sterling is spreading the Dafoeverse to Splatoon.
Once in a blue moon does not constitute “enough”
And people say that Nintendo doesn’t put out enough new IP.
Fun twist: When I went to my boyfriend’s family reunion, I thought he was going to propose, but I got dumped instead. Apparently his mother, aunts, and sisters all knew beforehand and bought me parting-from-the-family gifts. How’s that for fucked up? lol.
That pretty much explains why I loathe Star Wars fans so much. They have to explain the shit out of everything. Couldn’t leave a little fucking mystery.
The Clone Wars is 500 times more thought-out and interesting than the prequels.
you know what introduced me to lore?
Please tell me you are talking about the horse...
It seems like Mad Max: Fury Road just hit theaters, but LEGO builder Will has already remade the best vehicles of…
Sorry Imperator it looks like Max is in another car.
I have a better one for you.
First time I get to use this in response.
What’s the status quo of Marvel and DC’s universes?
Yeah, I’ll be putting down Sex Criminals and Saga to start reading this stuff any day now.
Some “events” are better written than others. Start better. Have more interesting and worthwhile side-stories. Have better reasons to invade all the other monthly books. Not every event is created equal.
I can’t possibly imagine why people have a hard time getting into these “events.”
