I have a very short commute so it actually works brilliantly - not to mention that I can pre-heat the cabin from wall power so that when I get into the car in the AM and it’s well below freezing it’s already 70 degrees inside the car.

I’m fully aware of this. This is why I included the photo of the impossibly thin floorpan where there’s clearly no battery, and then noted there was nowhere else (like the front or back) where the battery could possibly be.

You’re not fitting 300 miles worth of batteries under the hood (with the FWD drivetrain, HVAC and crash structure) or in the rear (with the 3rd row and presumably charging hardware)

Do people buy these or just bicycle/scooter/moped rental shacks in tourist areas?
