What am I missing? This seems like a no-brainer - fun, compact, stick-shift, RWD...

Nah. Last I heard there wasn’t a Ridgeline with a blown Barra or an LS.

I wish pickup trucks were just pickup trucks instead of 7,000lb luxo-barge container ships. I want my truck to be affordable, durable, simple, practical, utilitarian.

It might have “it”, but I don’t want it.

I never liked this design; it is somehow both too round and too boxy.
It works well in the larger sedans, but on a coupe/convertible I don’t think it scales well.

Now playing

Been loving Song Machine - but IMO the real standout is Désolé

I had a buddy with a Ford Telstar that I managed to start with my fucking thumbnail. It was such a piece of shit that most people didn’t even want to steal it with no tools.

Yeah agreed on risk tolerance v risk avoidance; I’ve spent countless hours in the ring with my company’s security team.

Dude I took a look at your discussion history, I’m not sure what “boomers” did to you but maybe you should get some counselling.

I feel like Mitsubishi is Artax and we’re standing on the edge of the Swamp of Sadness, begging that they just fucking try something, instead of shitting out bland runner-up class SUVs and Mirages.

This is true; but there’s a world of difference between making someone have to pick a lock and Amazon being signed into my lock & home camera system!

I think the statement is less about specific devices and more about allowing access to companies that gather data into our lives (Google/Amazon).

Why, here’s my rant on this idiotic feature just last week!

Also they’re brake lights, not “stop lamps”, and reverse lights, not “back up” lights. It is possible for a perceived authority to be wrong, just like the creator of the .GIF format who erroneously thinks it’s pronounced “jif”!

The strategy works well here if you have those street fundraising types trying to be all pally and goofy and to get your attention when you’re just walking down the street. I bust out: “My England... he is... not well” and they tend to leave me alone

Ford: Hey, we’re churning out trucks and SUVs and even ventilators!
Where’s our headline?

Yep. I looked into ordering those to put on my car but they’re bloody expensive, and it’s unlikely the dealership would change programming for the lights.
