RIGHT UP TO YOUR FACE AND DISS YOU
RIGHT UP TO YOUR FACE AND DISS YOU
This is the first car from 2014 that if you showed it to me at age 6, I’d say “that’s from the FUTURE!”.
I hope they get that in the V60 soon.
re: Neutral - it’s kinda hard to say, what with, not being psychic and all, but it’s getting harder and harder to imagine most vehicles having no form of electrification in their drivetrain over the next decade or so.
re: insulted Malcolm Turnbull of Australia-
It’s like those people who say “over $50,000 invested”
People invested in Enron, y’know...
PRO TIP:
Make yourself some Lamingtons to eat while you crack a tinny and watch some racing. But you’ll want to start making these tomorrow at the latest, because the cake needs to go a bit stale before you do the icing.
That’s the Mrs. 2013 Honda Civic, which I counted internally since I was on the title, but didn’t put on the list.
-before anyone asks:
1990 Audi 90
2007 Holden Commodore SV6
2012 Subaru Legacy
2015 Subaru Forester XT
2015 Nissan Leaf
2017 Subaru Impreza Sport
2000 Jaguar XK8
Short story time:
Take the “1" off the front of that price and it’s still a tall order...
Yep. You need like, two powertrains, max. (six!??!!?!!!)
That’s fine; I think people have different expectations from trucks and body-on-frame SUVs, but I think it’s pretty tough to argue that if Ford had kept their product line more up to date that they might be well within the top 10 with, say, their Escape, rather than just outside it.
e: what is their competition in that…
I mean; you’re kinda missing the point if you’re saying Ford’s “not behind their competitors” if you’re supporting that argument by saying Honda’s cycle is 5 years and GM’s is 7 years, and saying that Honda’s the aberration. Over 100,000 more CRVs were sold in 2018 vs the Escape, and the CRVs didn’t need cash on the…
Y’know, upon reflection, I’m overcomplicating this. It’s not about the “newness” of cars, not really. What does Ford need to do?
What does Ford need to do?
Yeah, fair point; he’s doing what he thinks makes sense for the company, which ultimately is his responsibility to the shareholders. Just seems like leaving money on the table is all. Curious as to how you’re considering the Legacy a CUV though; are you thinking of the Outback?
That’s totally an option. Like, I’m wiiiiide open to exploring pretty much anything this side of $45k - provided it meets the pretty simple criteria above. Planning on visiting a ton of dealerships and driving a lot of cars - just not Ford (or Subaru lol).
See; I’d buy that argument if Subaru decided to discontinue the Legacy, if Mazda decided to discontinue the 6, or if Volvo decided to stick to wagons and crossovers only. But for one of the largest automakers on this spinning ball, no. They have the capacity to make cars; they are doing it elsewhere in the world.…
