For some Trucks are amazing tools - capable of carrying and/or towing thousands of pounds. Thing is, most pickup truck drivers don’t use them as *trucks*, and for people who aren’t using trucks as tools, they’re vastly inferior vehicles to just about every alternative - especially as a family car. There’s so much

Missing: Presto! “essentials” (toilet paper/soaps/laundry etc).

I think this is a case of “hey, Subaru’s doing well, how do we get a piece of that pie?”

I mean like; a normal wagon. The issue with the Maxx was that it was only in one trim (expensive), with one engine (a V6 while gas was expensive). So if anything the lesson they learned was even stupider; the Maxx wasn’t thirsty enough or well-enough equipped!

I’m working on something with my Jag right now; it’s currently at 66,647 and will have (juvenile) fruit to behold very soon.

The lesson GM learned from the Malibu Maxx was that people don’t want wagons (instead of learning that people don’t want that wagon). I honestly believe some in this industry are stupid enough that they’re just one flop of a sedan away from abandoning the segment entirely.

I can’t imagine how much fun they had shooting this video.
Now I want an old Ford LTD

...which, in turn, copied the Outback.
Which is why I call the Allroad the Krautback

“Dennis and Dee Go on Welfare” - It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia

Whoa that’s a good tool;

I’ve heard that there’s a new strategy to teaching kids about “stranger danger” - that being that telling kids that anybody they don’t know is dangerous is risky, as they’ll run from police, firefighters or medical professionals. Instead, they should learn how to identify people who may not have their best intentions

When I first moved to the US (Milwaukee) and barely had any money, I remember seeing a Sebring Convertible of this generation for sale at a corner lot with $999 on the windshield. Obviously in much rougher shape, but I figured, shit, I need a car, that’s a car, I can afford it, what could go wrong?

I think the issue is; as much as I’ve complained about HD before (and I have), I don’t want them to fail - I just want them to make bikes for the rest of us. The point wasn’t that you can’t afford two HD’s with your existing responsibilities, it’s that they represent very poor value for most motorcyclists - to say

They’ll be just fine, thanks to Punkybrewstershubby and the millions of 50-something white males all around America who have the disposable cash to buy two HD’s and pay for their care and feeding, and who don’t have to pay for things like their mortgages and kids’ tuition fees.

Does it need Premium Gas?

Didn’t finish on Switch and I’ll be damned if I’m going to play it again.
I found the controls frustrating and found it difficult to get DK to go exactly where I wanted him.

Nine thousand dollars for a self-oiling shop class project.

what would be great would be if this update doesn’t come in and change all my freaking defaults back to suit Microsoft products, and change my preferences back system defaults (e.g. re-enable “Fast Boot”).
