Usually won’t work out free for anyone.  Some other company will buy the remains in bankruptcy court for pennies on the dollar and then you get to deal with them.

I used to sell Lexus and both the Coach edition around 1996 and the platinum edition in 2000 both seemed lame.

Correct. Lucid should have launched with the Gravity SUV first.  That’s where the demand and money is.   Second, Tesla has had such a massive head start in EVs.  Tesla has the infrastructure built out with servicing vehicles and their charging network which is reliable.

CNBC has a story that this 2024 Nautilus will be manufactured in China. So probably is based on the Chinese Ford Edge.

Even though the 1st generation Probe GT had a turbo 4, the 2nd generation V6 GT never made sounds that any even half way auto enthusiast would think was a Turbo kicking in.  I know, I used to own one.  It was a smooth engine quiet engine for it’s class.

I don’t know what the big deal is. Many Indian-Bollywood films have non indian, white/caucasian dancers during the musical/dancing scenes.

According to a NY Post article, the kids were driving home from a mall and were from Derby, CT. From the accident site to Derby is about 50 miles. That’s a hell of a long distance for a unlicensed driver.  And around midnight?    Senseless death’s.  The current lack of parenting is astonishing.

It’s not just right wing white that believe in this mumbo jumbo.  I know a few African American people that basically believe in the same.  That social security cards means you’re a slave, birth certificates mean the gov’t owns you, etc.  They don’t have bank accounts because they feel then the government can find you

We live in a boring country. Almost everything we pick is based on resale value. car colors, home colors, businesses. Let’s not forget clothes. Beige, Grey, white. Go to most places outside of the U.S., colors everywhere. Pastel colored houses, etc. cars in vibrant colors, clothing the same.

Drywall colored cars!! That’s hilarious. Never thought of that but that’s a good descriptor. It seems like there are 50 shades of non metallic gray-drywall colored cars today.  I know even in my recently purchased Audi I believe there was a choice of at least 2 and maybe 3 gray’s.

The fact that plenty of people bid it up thousands above its actual MSRP does say people are still willing to pay way over MSRP for a car.  Just the dealer had too much confidence in what they thought they could get. The dealer could probably still sell it for 175 to 200k and get it.  Basically that dealer will make

Some are dumb.  Let’s face it you have to be rich to buy a 150k plus car.

It’s 2023. Aren’t most employees paid minimum $15.   I can’t imagine even in Alabama people working for or getting paid $10/hour even though minimum wage is still $7ish in many states.

Nothing like buying junk to try and impress other people instead of buying what one can afford. Typical off a growing group of the population that feels they are “entitled” to stuff instead of working for and earning it.

Americans can’t buy land or real estate in most Middle East countries. So we shouldn’t either.  Many countries have much more restrictive laws on ownership for foreign nationals. America needs to do the same.

Could get a approx 2010 Lexus RX350 since there seems to be a preference for a CUV.

It could be reprised for:

Tom did say also to do the math.

My 1996 Ford Probe GT 5 speed which was pretty much a Mazda. Quality was definitely not “Job 1”. But damn, abused it well, took care of it well. Loved that car.

I used to sell these and I thought they were utterly stupid & pointless: The Lexus Coach Editions. The only good thing they only came in one color and was a nice Whitish/Silver color. The 5th Anniversary Lexus were stupid also. I mean come on, it was only 5 years.
