Did governor Desantis approve this? Is this going to fall under Desantis “woke” culture that he is soo trying to ban? Is Desantis going to have a public hissy for about this?

Keri Lake knows she didn’t win.  She’s just one of the many nuts in this country that wants to cause chaos.

Tesla is hardly a niche manufacturer of vehicles at this point.

You can still markup a car to a lease buyer.  A dealer can add a “market adjustment” to a lease also.

Car maker’s and their finance arm’s aren’t subsidizing leases right now and haven’t been for the last year or so. It’s kinda strange why not as subsidizing lease’s for 2-3 years keeps people coming back to buy new cars in 2-3 years, thereby increasing demand for new cars as well as keeping the dealer’s stocked with

“And many will never listen in that class and then get spicy later and scream “Why wasn’t I taught that in school?””

Tesla is only “luxury” in terms of price.  A Tesla Y is well over 60K for that rubbish interior and build quality. And the X is in the mid $100K for the same.

How is Lexus not a “luxury make”?  They sell cars ranging from $30K-ish to well over $100K.  Sure the majority of their sales are at the lower end, but even today their best selling products, Lexus NX and RX easily are $45 to $65K.

At this point Elon should go. 6 months, a year ago I considered purchasing a Tesla. His recent antics made me buy something else.

Cars prices aren’t coming down.  Sure may get some more discounting next year to move the metal, so maybe less vehicles sold at MSRP and maybe the return of some rebates and finance specials. But I doubt you see 0.9% etc.

Of course, they expect politicians to move mountains. Americans deregulation only if it keeps gas prices low....gas prices go up, we want regulation to bring the price down. Or Gas prices high? It must be a conspiracy from Democrats. You know gas prices will “go down right before election time”. Didn’t happen this

The average American has the attention span of a fruit fly. Gas prices drop by a $1.00 a gallon for a day and SUV and pickup truck sales go through the roof.

How can you leave the Jeep wrangler off the list?

It does say 2022 survey.   Historically Hyundai & Kia have been below average and generally the bottom 3rd of the list anyway.  Toyota is usually below average also.  So nothing really new.

My local Mitsubishi dealer just opened in a old Mercedes dealership that closed about 5 years ago.  Massive building for selling Mitsubishi’s.  Hopefully they do well.

Every Toyota dealer I’ve ever been to stinks.  They love rushing customers, switching products up, adding B.S. dealer add-ons and fees.  On top of it, due to Toyota’s quality reputation, Toyota salespeople have a certain arrogance about them.

Auto companies wouldn’t offer 10 year loans if buyers didn’t take them.

I guess you could blame it on the auto industry.   Maybe also you can blame a lack of financial literacy, materialism, and gotta have something better than your neighbors attitude.

American buyers, generally, can’t stop over-extending themselves to in car purchases & home purchases to impress other people. I blame buyers way more than the carmakers. 20-30 years ago, the average middle class family had sedans like Camry’s/Accords. Today, in the suburbs it seems like it’s $70K Tahoe’s, RX350, etc.

Toyota/Lexus is stupid like that. Trying to get one of there sedans with RWD instead of AWD in the northern states is almost impossible.
