I saw that car race at the Michigan Auto cross regionals up at the air base in Oscoda! Thing was ridiculously fast up there on just an auto cross course.

To top it off, if bought new, they tend to appreciate in value if you go through the process of registering them because of how much of a pain they are to register.

There’s a place on the west side of Manhattan, I think something like 11th and 50th, that sells armored cars. I was walking by and saw a price tag of something like 200 grand for a few year old ford explorer and was like WTF?! then I read the description.

They definitely have plenty of vacant land in the city to do so, but due to noise complaints, I really don’t think something like that would happen. Even a small road course would be awesome, Waterford hills style.

Do people still race there? You’d think that given the fact that everyone talks about it, they would just park a cop car there every night and that would eliminate the racing.
