Police don’t really prevent crime, and police don’t really solve crimes with any effectiveness. So what we have is an armed force that spends most of their time driving around in circles being traffic wardens. Just hire traffic wardens instead.

The real issue is that real wages have gone down over time in the USA. Cars don’t cost more somuchas, we are paid LESS.
