Ryan,

Tesla could release a functioning Teleporter and Felton would talk bad about it.

Tesla could release a functional flux capacitor and Ryan Felton would complain about how it uses the wrong jiggawatts.

They have been losing money because they had been investing in their future. See the profitable quarter before the Model 3 ramp up. If they hadn’t spent all that money on the Model 3 and just kept making S and Xs then they would have been profitable.

-Take the number of each model and multiply it by the avg price of that model.

Tesla could have posted a profit while at the same time making cold fusion energy effective, and Ryan Felton would still write a hand wringing article about them.

Why isn’t anyone pointing out that the I Pace only has 2 rows of seats?

Can someone confirm.

The issue with full body armor that few SciFi worlds address is Fit-ability.

I thought GM had the motto “Moving Backwards into the Future”.

86K is the fully optioned (or nearly fully) Model3 (Trim, wheels, finishes, speecd, tires, AWD etc). The Base Model S starts around $77K. This is a similar pricing structure to many vehicles from F150s to BMWs.

Yes, but Saudi Arabia still controls pricing since it is a global market.

This is a similar pricing structure to many vehicles. From F150s to BMWs. The most expensive optioned out versions cost twice as much as the base models.

The BASE model for each of these (taycan and model S ) starts around that $77K USD.

Yeah. David Tracy even wrote on Jalopnik about not being able to discuss all the insider knowledge he had while he worked on Jeeps.

If Jalopnik acknowledged this was common at any organization, even non profits or universities, then they wouldn’t have a headline to earn clicks from.

Why do people in NYC even own cars?

No Matter what Tesla does, Ryan will knock them. The headline could have been that Tesla meets Q3 guidance, but instead he chose to add scare quotes.

“EVs force consumers to make significant changes to their daily habits—

Legacy automakers don’t want to sell EVs. The only people that want EVs less than legacy automakers are Legacy Car Dealers.
