I only sort of care because I’m from Ohio, though I grew up with my family being die-hard Reds fans. I didn’t give much of a rip about sports as a kid, only when a game meant that my grandpa would be taking over the only TV in the house.

People like sports. It’s even important to some people. Most of the teams have individual principal owners and don’t randomly move around. The exceptions, especially when teams move are a big deal when they happen. The team was founded in Cleveland over 100 years ago.

Worse, a lot of the water under that bridge is only a few feet deep, but the mud underneath can be 5-10' deep. You can survive the entry into the water only to get stuck waist deep in the mud, where you end up drowning.
