I get it!

It occurs to me that eating ice cream in sub-zero temperatures could have some potential downsides.

The milkshake would be the most calories for your buck. If it’s whole fat, with heavy cream - you’re basically just sucking down liquid fat. The cheeseburger and fries have too many empty carbs and proteins and nutrients, brah.

People who do mountain-climbing and polar exploring and other adventure activities actually spend a lot of time figuring out the most calorie-dense foods, so they can pack more calories into what they’re carrying. And basically, the answer is “any type of fat”. Oil, butter, lard, etc. Pure calories.

I will always remember Quaresma as that dude with inexplicable teardrop tattoos for merking two guys in a Mexican prison.

Wait a gosh darned tick - that was my Canadian high school girlfriend! Oh my god, she was cheating on me the whole time ...

I dunno - her finger looks like Vince McMahon’s face to me, for some reason.

So, last season I learned that there’s a dedicated hardcore Joe Flacco fanbase that apparently exists. A solid chunk of fans are now pledging to support the Broncos in loyalty to Flacco, who the Ravens apparently treated so poorly. I’m ... mystified.

Was about to say - junkies aren’t getting anywhere near M&T. Majority of attendees at the games are from the county, and they think anyone in the city with a slight lean is a heroin junkie.

The fans that can afford to go to games are the ones who love Ray Lewis, think Freddie Gray deserves what happened to him, and love to call every minor aesthetic flaw in the city “ghetto.”

Here’s a pro tip for all aspiring GMs out there: Anytime Bill Belichick comes to you with a trade offer, slam down the phone and run screaming the hell away.

Short answer is no, the NFLPA will not back Brown in this. The new helmet certification requirement was the result of a collective agreement between the league and the union - it could be seen as a win for the NFLPA on the issue of player safety.

Your ... argument here is that Antonio Brown doesn’t want to play football because it’s dangerous and he’s using the helmet thing as an excuse not to play but still get paid?

I’m disturbed, but not surprised. Once you post an article fundamentally criticizing your new ownership, well - acrimonious separation becomes inevitable. I wouldn’t be surprised if Greenwell was expecting to tender her resignation as far back as when the article was originally written.

Tiger Woods. But without the scandal or the dominance.

You realize there’s a 50-50 chance he becomes a bandwagon Patriots fan.

Flawed handball laws are more like a congenital heart defect. And VAR is like an MRI that reveals the defect. Similarly, MRI’s are time-consuming, anxiety-inducing, and they aren’t always perfect.

Without VAR, today’s discussion of the new handball rule would probably be limited to a few salty Spurs fans griping about the blown call on Jesus’s winner, the rest of us happy that the refs didn’t ruin the most exciting moment of the young season with a dumb handball.

Always good articles from Luis. Concise, clear, detailed analysis - engaging, but not esoteric.
