If Tower Defense games didn't exist soley because of Warcraft, I might have opposed this idea, but it's kind of like Blizzard smirking at us really.

@gryphy: good show sir, you beat me to it.

"Government types are gone. Religion is gone. In their place is Civ's own perks system, Policies, which are a masterstroke. Now customising your empire's traits is as easy customising the skills of your favourite RPG character."

@cfive3: I don't get it. Everyone I know says that Ghandi was to be feared in past Civs. I've played 3 and 4 thoroughly but never had a nuclear encounter with him like everyone else has.

Can we discuss the awsomeness that is today's picture? Seriously, that's one of my favorites now.

You know I'd like to complain but...damnit it feels so right.

God damnit Crecente. It's been how many days since release and you just spoil it away in the title like that?

@DJEsch: I was surprised to only find one ninja comment.

The biggest part is that those kids will come out all the better having some programming experience, even if it's nothing but an editor. Creativity is stifled quite a bit in my opinion in the school system (even in the general US population), and this seems like a good outlet for them to practice that creativity.

@Jason Jones: Yep, Microsoft isn't known for wearing Halos around thier heads.

At least they made some kind of attempt to reach out to customers.

@GundamWarrior2: I generally open my games in the parking lot before I leave the store. Saved me alot of inconvenience I think.

@Stradigos: diddo. I thought a genuine miracle had occured

@Avrus: THEN YOU WILL PAY WITH YOUR BLOOD!!

It looked pretty but I don't see what everyones raving about.

@wocalax: bullet drop has been in the battlefield series since BF2. just to note, the physics tech has always been there. Not sure why 99.9% games forgo it.

Wow, Kotick went out of his way to show how unassociated he is with his consumer base. Last I checked 9/10's of what Activision would consider a "gamer" doesn't give two shits about cutscenes. In fact, haven't we all been clamoring for games to add a mandatory "skip cutscene" button in for all of them?
