HW1 works fine in rain, HW2 should be good also. Drove through a heavy thunderstorm last summer on the highway where I could barely see the lines, but autopilot could see them just fine and the radar worked fine to detect the slower cars.

Umm, not free, there was a $2000 charge bundled into the cost of the Model S for Supercharging access.
Yup, P85D arrived last January with 19" Wheels and Snow tires mounted on car with the 21" Wheels and Performance Tires in the “trunk”, cost was $2700 CDN.
