Came here for a take like this and was not disappointed. I have never understood why the Deadspin staff (along with a number of the commenters here, I might add) seem to be so enamored with a guy who has behaved like a complete prick for his entire career.

Yes. The dude always seemed like kind of an asshole (evidenced, perhaps, the fact that he has garnered the most technical fouls, by a large margin, of anyone else in the last decade?), but you’d never know it reading a Deadspin article.
