I’ve also wondered why lights (especially cars equipped with automatic lights) don’t come on whenever the windshield wipers are turned on. I see people driving in the rain all the time without lights on, and I assume the LCD instruments are contributing to this.

The narrow squinty headlights don’t do anything to make the front end look less bulbous from this angle. Damn pedestrians.
