Looks like President Obama will be a guest on Pod Save America a.k.a the new Keepin' It 1600:

I'd agree with Tereglith. In an English course I took the tutor was a PhD student studying Chick Lit, and in some circles Jane Austen is considered Chick Lit, so I'd argue while there occasionally might be overlap, YA and Chick Lit are primarily two different circles.

Just came back from seeing Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (finally!) and I did not expect to tear up at hearing the Harry Potter theme song but I did! Also did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did - probably the most I've ever enjoyed Eddie Redmayne who is pretty much perfectly cast, for a change, in this

Oh I probably should add …. I do not like Mary and that probably adds to why I don't like the voiceover. I think Moffat/Gatiss did not understand how people thought about Mary - reminder that oh yeah, she killed Sherlock - so another thing that pissed me off about the voiceover is she gets the last words of the show,

I assumed Sherlock was texting Greg.

Probably! I hope that Sam Stosur has a good run - she's never done well here so I hope that changes.

I agree with that, but I still believe it could be done better in other ways.

Well over the rest of the Open, I will not fall asleep in front of the TV again.

I've seen that argument before but the voiceover didn't need to be there for that ending to have the same effect. Hell, the idea that Sherlock and John will always be Sherlock on John has existed since the end of the pilot and the show is quite open about there being many things we don't see, mainly shown to us

I made the mistake of going on Tumblr …

So uh ….. SHERLOCK?!?!?

I just culled all my podcasts, but Wait Wait Don't Tell Me manages to find a way back onto my computer!

Happy Birthday Hector! Have a fantastic day and may Perth put on a lovely day for you!

It's a nice little theory, I think I learnt it for Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse'.

I'm not crying, you're crying. Obama gave his final Presidential Medal of Freedom, and his only one with Distinction, to Joe Biden:

And this just in from the BFI screening from Gatiss: 'This may be the final problem and if it is, thank you for making Sherlock what it is.'.

I believe they were renewed for a 5th season and Wikipedia tells me that there is a plan and that Cumberbatch is signed for a 5th, but I'm not expecting more than that, as much as I would love for them to do a series every 4-5 years, that's probably not going to work out.

Happy Birthday Eric! Stolat and hope you have a fantastic day!

I have come around to that way of thinking to and am very much hoping that next week's episode does not become a series finale.

I had the great honour of receiving the #1 draft pick, so in the order I picked them:
