I am finally getting around to my 30 Rock rewatch since I now have all the DVDs, and I keep forgetting how perfect Tracy Does Conan is. I always remember it to be great, but I always forget how perfect it is.

She was! I think they're fairly easy to outrun here, so that's good. I was a bit worried that they were going to come at me, because the root I take to one of my lectures involves walking across the stepping stones, and I was a bit wary of them when stopping on the stones to take pictures, but they were all good!

My friend was chased by a swan yesterday, so when I told her, her faced from 'awwwww' after to hearing about the ducklings to 'absolute horror' at the mention of swans.

Dear All Universities,

Schwimmer is a pretty great physical actor - Pivot and randomly picking up the lamp come to mind - and I'm not sure anyone else has moments like that on the show.

Hey - Me too! Though I'm just on the tail end of pharyngitis thanks to some wonderful medication that I'm taking for the first time since I've become allergic to two of the three main substitutes for penicillin which I am allergic to!

I just saw six of the twenty little ones learn how to swim yesterday along side some of the cygnets who seem to have had a growth spurt!

Phoebe > Rachel > Chandler > Monica > Joey > everyone else > Ross.

We do it all the time here. We typically just scream - I do so even seeing those tiny little ones, and them mum traps it and puts it back in the reserve.

Fair enough. Honestly? They're not all that common and people who get them tend to, like me, either back onto reserves or other greenery places. Granted, that can lead to snakes too but I'll stop there because even thinking about that gives me shivers.

I don't know if it helps, but we get posts like that on our Hall's chat page telling everyone to avoid certain stairwells due to spiders.

This year ended up being around 3.5 months and even that was excruciating. Can we get back to normal politics please?

So I am watching The West Wing's 'The Al Smith Dinner' and my god, it is so bizarre to watch civil politics - and I can't believe that's what feels dated about the the show.

Also, just remembered that there is a West Wing Season 7 episode called The Al Smith Dinner, so I'm probably going to end up watching that some time in the next 24 hours.

Someone's put up the booing bit on Twitter and my god, who the hell wrote that speech.

It was not my idea, but I support it.

Mine's a photo of my face that's been superimposed on an owl as part of my hall's Academic Team advertising.
