Yeah. The primaries gave him a false sense of security there, but if he's going to keep spending money there and not in Florida, Pennsylvania or Ohio? Fine by me.

Also a Lt. Gov from somewhere said something else too. It's rather sad they saw Nice as a political opportunity.

To play devil's advocate - I'm not surprised about NY. It's his home state and it would be highly embarrassing for him to lose it by the margin he's probably going to lose it by. So if he's wasting money on that state, great!

Chris Christie apparently made a final Hail Mary pitch at the 11th hour too.

Pence could also be aiming for a 2020 run. He has to not run for re-election, and from what I can tell that race is close. I think he might have taken the position so that he can say in 2018/19/20 he tried to unify the party and establish himself as someone who can do that in 2020 - assuming the GOP loses in 2016 and

Only saw 7 Days in Hell a few weeks ago, but wow it was beautiful. Just saw that they're teaming up again to do a mockumentary on Lance Armstrong and doping with Daveed Diggs and I can't wait.

VP is Pence:

I'm going to make as many Her? jokes during that week and see how many people pick up on them.

There is something horrifically awesome and sublime about The Circus.

So in really awesome news, looks like I'll be studying Her and Ex Machina in my Intro to Literary Theory course this semester.

1. Tumblr.

The critics I follow on Twitter have been saying that the 3rd season is fantastic AND I JUST WANT TO WATCH IT RIGHT NOW NOT IN 2 OR SO WEEKS.

Hamilton fans! As many of you may know, today marks the last performance from Lin Manuel-Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr. and Phillipa Soo. The Hamilton Facebook page is live streaming the curtain call at around 10.45pm here:

Just saw a tweet saying that the guy pictured gave his gun to a policeman after the shooting started.

Where are you up to?

I'm really excited to read the historiography on this election and its fallout. Or even just historiography work on 2016.

I was nearly 4! One of my uncles and aunts came interstate along with a few cousins, so we were doing a lot of touristy stuff during the Olympics, which I think helps me remember them.

I remember being aware of its occurrence, but I don't remember seeing coverage of it, which is why I put it under 'vaguely remember'.

I vaguely remember 9/11, Iraq, Afghanistan and if it counts, Sydney 2000 fireworks and Olympics. I remember getting up at like 4am and sitting on dad's shoulders to see the Olympic Torch run past the street parallel to us. Dunno if that counts though …..

That started streaming here a few days ago. I ended up watching the first 12 episodes in 2 days and it was amazing. Can't wait for the 12th so more episodes come. I hope they bump them up to 40-50 minutes cause, damn, I need more of this show.
