Jello, I was 9. It to my past self was thoroughly underwhelming.

Yes. That film was … not great.

Still has nothing on Kane!

To be fair, I did have to watch it a few times in order to understand it, and the next time was with my parents. But the other 6 times were definitely for school.

I've ended up watching Lola, or at least large portions of Lola, around a dozen times this semester - it was our first film in Intro to Film and our first assessment was on it. I enjoyed it a fair bit, but it's certainly not for everyone, but I think I'd have a different appreciation for it after watching Sense8.

I cannot emphasise how little I like violence - the other two times I've enjoyed it are Hannibal and John Wick - but it was done incredibly well. Even though he only directed 2 episodes I think, the tension throughout the show, particularly in the fight stuff, reminds me so much of Tykwer's direction in Run Lola Run.

Ah, I blocked that part from my memory …

I agree with most of what you've said, but honestly I just had a really fun experience watching it that I'm recommending it to pretty much everyone. Except my parents for obvious reasons.

Just finished Sense8. Boy, that was a wild ride. I do hope it gets a second season.

I have now done 6 exams/assessments on Citizen Kane, and as much as I love it, if I have to be assessed on it any more I really do fear for my mind as all it's doing right now is playing the movie over.

I'm just in ep 5 and his plotline ….. I haven't laughed this hard in soooooooooooooo long - Community finale excluded.

Having studied Run Lola Run this semester, I have a great appreciation of Tykwer's soundtrack. In the 3rd ep right now and am rather enjoying it.

Welcome to Melbourne!

WHAT THE HELL

Not an actual response, just a Hannibal pic I found today and love and would really like on a t-shirt:

I can't stop laughing:

I tend not to watch it on a weekly basis, but I still watch it …. just a lot later than everyone else.
