It's a specific choice. They only show new stuff, except when classics make sense in a double - like All is Quiet on the Western Front and Dune.

What time has been good in the past for an evening game?

I hate making new years resolutions, but this year I did resolve myself to leave the house more often to see films, so this really is a slam dunk. Plus it's like 5 minutes from my college! And seeing films in the cinema is something I'm enjoying more and more.

I saw The Imitation Game last night, and I can see why a film like it or Theory of Everything - which I hear is not as good as Imitation Game - could win. It seems like people who are talking are headed in the direction of Imitation Game/Theory of Everything.
