I “THINK” what he is trying to say is that it being truly live doesn’t matter and that the communities persuance of non-segmented speedruns is just forcing speedrunners to mindlessly replay long stretches of the games that have already been solved when they could be focusing on getting the trickier portions and

I truly do not understand what point this dude was trying to make and I’m not sure he does either.

I have higher hopes for this then I did the game.

It will at least look good

Video games are great. “Gamers” are fucking trash. Makes me embarrassed to admit I love video games sometimes.

When your only defence of a bill is “Yes on paper it’s horrific, but they won’t actually enforce it!”, you’re in a pretty shit situation, frankly.

I’m in the marketing and PR realm. I cannot emphasize how much these tweets are a trajectory-altering decision for Simon Thomley’s career and the entire Headcannon studio’s future prospects. When you’re a contractor/vendor/services provider, you don’t come out and say scathing things against a contracting client

Yeah, it’s shockingly light on content. Rumors are that management had them do numerous experiments that were ultimately scrapped wasting development resources (possibly a battle royale concept among others).

What the hell was the team working on if the PVE campaign isn’t out on Oct 4? They had years of work for like 3 characters and 2 maps? A bit of balancing? Why even bother, just keep updating Overwatch 1 and make it f2P. No need for a new title that is basically a regular update when the original Overwatch launched.

As an American, I’m still trying to wrap my brain around the idea that a city actually took time to build spaces for pedestrians and cyclists instead of just saying “fuck you, get a car”

Yeah, non-Sonic fans tend to think that the only appeal of Sonic games is speed but that’s never really been true. Sonic games are platformers first and foremost. Speed is definitely a big part of them but it’s not the only thing that fans care about.

I have never seen a bigger set of fuckbois than the innumerable “easy for them to say!” Commenters.

It’s just as easy for a nobody commentor to dismiss ideal behavior for flimsy reasons.

Many comments here: “Big companies can’t do this because shareholders and executives.”

Yes, but massive companies that have created games that sell many more copies for a higher price should also be aiming for this.

Which makes it even more inexcusable when giant publishers which ship multiple bestsellers a year do it.

A battle royale racing game? If anything, this should be drawing comparisons to Fall Guys. This looks good, but just because it’s fast doesn’t at all mean it’s enough like Sonic to merit comparisons.

merry christmas you filthy animal

You realize older millennials are in their 40s, right? Exactly how old are you???

I’m into this. The main thing stopping me from getting into fighting games is the amount of memorisation required; it’s what I really like about Smash.
