Good on steam on taking a stand for their players against these devs!

Why are we surprised? They made a mobile game out of Pokemon Go and that’s one of their main IPs. I think what I definitely would never expect is a full-fledged Mario Bros. or Pokemon game on mobile.
Same boat as you. That was the first 3d zelda game I couln’tnot only finish, but had to stop halfway through out of boredom. And yet so many love it for the same reasons I don’t.
Metal Gear Solid V. For obvious reasons, I played it thinking I would eventially see traces of the MGS game I thought it was supposed to be, only to approach the midway point of the game and realize that it was not a typical MGS game at all. Just a very well polished stealth action game that dragged on for a tad…
I guess it’s cool if you don’t like titles. Just saying the titles are’cancer’ is just a bad metaphor. You could say they’re crap, shitty or whatever. But cancer? Weird choice bra.
Yup, exactly what I said! I’d wager they’re more clever than that, but only time will tell.
‘Likeness’ is not a very strict legal term when the chosen asthetic is realism. Real issues could arise if they use the exact same layout from the original halo maps or similar character models. If they’re coding and modeling from scratch, odds are they are in the clear.
I don’t know about you, but I’m an animator by profession and passion. ‘Anime’ is an umbrella term used by Japan, much how we use the word ‘animation’ here. There are tons of crappy animations and animes alike, just like there are tons of bad movies. But, don’t kid yourself, there are tons of great works of art to be…
Wish you had posted this about six months ago, when I was trying to figure out how spelunky level generation worked for reference. Fortunately, there was this site (only works on chrome) that explains it interactively and in more detail http://tinysubversions.com/spelunkyGen/
I know what you mean, and it is never explicitly said whether or not any given ending is canon. But also not all endings can be canon simultaneously. And if we start subscribing to the whole “there are X alternate-universes” theories, the word ‘canon’ really begins to lose all meaning, and nothing is really canon.…
Sorry, you’re right, starfox assault was canon. What I meant to say was StarFox Command (the ones you posted pictures of) is not (very likely) canon. To elaborate: the game featured different endings, without any one ending having an indication of being canonical, especially Fox having a kid. As much as I’ve searched,…
Man, I loved that game, but thank God it wasn’t canon.
Didn’t want to watch it. My friend really did. So I watched it.
METAL GEAR?!
Goddamn LaMulana. I’ve never loved a game I hated so much.
I thought people have been documented to survive harsh survival situations by eating poop, though. Don’t they say poop contains several undigested nutrients that can help prolong survival in starving individuals?
Hah, didn’t even notice. You’re so right.
I’ve got a friend working there as an animator. It’s not easy, but, work conditions aside, dealing with visas on top everything is a pain in the bum. Glad to hear this.
Think of it as a faster paced AC, since in-game time does no pass with real time. It’s less about customizing your house, and more about progression and self-achievement.
Wait, it’s not?!
