Granted, I haven’t started Conquest yet either :P , but I must continue to disagree, even if it does not make for interesting conversation.

I completely understand your frustrations, I’ve been there too. But between dozens of weapons, skills and maneuvering possibilities for every unit you control, the game provides ample ways to deal with risky situations. Pegasus knights can carry units in danger away, rescue staffs can retrieve units too far to rescue,

I understand your perspective, but you shouldn’t ever feel like the game is “cheating” you. Ultimately, getting hit by a crit, even a 1%, is 100% fair. You are given all the tools to make an informed decision before sending a unit to attack or retreat. You SEE that 1%, you aknowledge it, and think to yourself “what

Technically, revelations, the dlc path, has almost everyone from both sides I believe...

I’m actually digging the look. The perspective is not great, but the looseness is reminiscent of the Dark Knight Returns (even though that was DC).

I’m pretty well-traveled as well. I feel like you pretty much hit the nail on the head with everything you said.

Sorry for the life story, long reply ahead. TLDR at bottom.

I know I’m probably part of a minority here (and this is coming from someone who loves most indie games but never liked Braid), but while JB makes some interesting points in this video regarding the fall of adventure games, I find him to be incredibly pompous in his assumptions of what games should be trying to do.

It’s rover rhine rhousaaand!

Wow that’s crazy to think about. I could easily see that making some parts of this (and possibly other) game(s) quite annoying. I wonder how aware of these sort of colorblindness problems bigger dev companies are when designing AAA titles.

Watching this kind of stuff is incredibly fascinating. It gives a lot of insight into the thinking that went into the game’s programming. Most of these programming ‘logic errors’ go unnoticed by regular players such as myself because to exploit them you need a massive knowledge of the inner workings of the game to

“Computer gaming is a bit more expensive”

I absolutely agree. It’s true companies need to account first and foremost for the amount earned, and this may work as a benchmark for financial success, but by no means should that be considered as a benchmark for popularity. Regardless of type of ticket (child, adult or elder), 1 ticket = 1 atendee for the given

“Old” Kojima.

I second that notion.

Strange, because Dota just received a pretty hefty update (6.85) just about a week ago or so.

As a tip: people make a huge deal about denying being such a big diffrerence between LoL and Dota. It’s not. I mean, in the hands of a pro player it will gain you a huge advantage early game, but it’s just one other thing you can do. One big difference is that you have to buy Town Portal scrolls (to teleport around

Haha, I’m willing to believe that. If you don’t mind me asking, in what country do you guys run into that sort of problem? And in which sport? Honestly, just curious!

While there is a chance that you are right, you are making the assumption that the troll recognized the youtube persona, that the troll thought Dunkey’s comments were hilarious, and that everyone else in the game didn’t mind the comments. Someone in that game reported Dunkey because those comments were not appreciated.

Joking or not, whose to say that those kind on insults did or did not personally affect the player on the other side? Worse yet, the insult included a violent threat, albeit an empty one. But that does not make it acceptable behavior. Games aren’t just for kids, but also for adults. So either keep your talk
