This is something that Parks & Rec, arguably the Simpsons' closest live-action cousin, also did remarkably well.

Coraline is a terrific movie. The Step Up movies, not so much.
"Good day, sir!"
I think they should give the role to Emma Watson or Lupita N'yongo, just to irritate people.
Ditto for Harrison Ford and Han Solo. whoever plays him in the forthcoming prequel has their work cut out.
Definitely David Suchet as Poirot, and Christopher Lee as Saruman. This is my only real objection to a television adaptation of Lord of the Rings: who would fill Lee's shoes?
I'd settle for Oasis.
the Newsboys!
I keep wanting to watch this show, but I understand it stars possibly Rory's WORST boyfriend.
As an Orson Welles and Zac Efron fan, I was shocked last night when I started watching Me and Orson Welles and realized he had directed it. He's made some of my favorite movies of all time and somehow this one slipped by me. It was no "Boyhood," but for what it was, it was great.
I was so pumped after reading this whole review and then he called Weezer classic rock, putting them in the same category as Stillwater and Steely Dan and leaving me depressed. Bummer!
Angela Lansbury's character is the worst, she is the most wicked female villain in ANY movie

I've always thought Ewan McGregor should've gotten Leo's role in Titanic, and I want Adam Driver to play a young Severus Snape IT'S NOT TOO LATE
I'm actually just about to start watching that. I have no idea what to expect, and I'm thrilled.
He says he wants the new movie to be just like Goblet of Fire, which he didn't direct, and I'm afraid he's got a very wrong idea of what made that movie so great in the first place.
I love the fourth movie, but I'll admit the first few movies are a lot closer to my definition of "comfort food" than the later ones directed by David Yates. The early ones all have that warm, wintry, Young Sherlock Holmes-type magic. Movies one and two in particular are like watching a BBC period adaptation of a…
Harry Potter really is the most comforting thing in the world, but Lord of the Rings is a close second. I've never been drunk but if I was I'd probably binge-watch Poirot on Netflix because it is the ultimate comfort food for me, so pleasant and effortless.
one thing I appreciated about this episode is that Martin Chatwin seemed like a very tragic and doomed Harry Potter. and I liked that we were actually shown the terrible secret of the Chatwins, rather than being somewhat clumsily told in exposition at the very end of the story.
