So far I'm really enjoying this show. Besides the obvious pleasures of seeing the effervescent Ellie Kemper back on TV, as a cult survivor I find the portrayal of her naivete and helplessness in the face of a huge world accurately portrayed, if exaggerated somewhat for comic effect.

This was how I ended up watching it: ignoring the last two seasons and tuning in for the last couple of episodes.
I love Boyhood to pieces, but it is problematic that a film set in Texas only has one minority character with more than a few lines, and that this character seems - at least on a surface reading - to exist solely to highlight the casual heroism of a white lead.

That restaurant, Kerbey Lane Cafe, is one of the best places to eat in Austin. I'm glad they included it in the film.
