Show some damn respect.

Remember to lower your flags tomorrow night.

I do wonder if the past segments will eventually meet up with the future, ala Memento.

Four episodes in and already our first A episode. I can't wait to see where this show ends up.

Roger Ebert had an interesting theory as to why:

GET UP THERE, KANYE!

Aww, he wasn't too bad in The Boys from Brazil.

Bogart's performance in that movie reminds me uncannily of Bryan Cranston.

Parks is a world of cheer and generosity, which The Office tried but failed to be. Parks was at its best when it embraced its own idealism, while The Office declined largely because it failed to embrace its own darkness.

All along the finale had been cruising towards greatness, and that moment just clinched it.

I'd throw in Ben's Parents, if only for the moment where Ron shuts down Jean-Ralphio's attempt to abscond with his bacon-wrapped shrimp.

"… and noodles? Long-ass rice."

I think he was referencing how Jerry had a hfart attack.

Yeah, I gave up after Season 7, came back for the finale. (Like Michael, come to think of it). I'm not sure any show can rival The Office at its peak, but Parks was consistently great for a lot longer.

Pawnee Zoo was the Dundies episode of Parks & Rec in that it completely re-tooled the show and revealed its potential. I can understand its placement on a list of the most significant episodes.

Seasons 3 and 4 of Parks remind me of Seasons 2 and 3 of The Office. Unalloyed comedic genius.

I would throw in Time Capsule and the one where Leslie and Tom are matched on Hoosiermate.com (aka the one with "Apps and Zerts"), but yes.

"I guess I kinda hate most things, but I never really seem to hate you. So, I wanna spend the rest of my life with you."

Hitflix had an excellent list of the 15 best episodes a couple of days ago that explains why the lack of hype around their wedding was such a pivotal moment in comedy.
