Same. It happens on my 5s about once a week, but it’s not fully restarting. The screen just goes blank with the apple logo for a few seconds, then goes right back to where I was. A restart would take much longer.

iOS has had swipe to go back since iOS 7. It works in just about every app. I can’t even remember the last time I hit that back button.
Mostly just the way everything is organized. My biggest peeve is the way Artist view is just an endless list of songs. If you have 4 albums saved from an artist, when you click on that artist in Your Music, it just gives you a list of ~50 songs. There’s not even a space separating songs from different albums. In Apple…
In order for him to be an apologist, there would actually have to be something to apologize for. Other than a few bugs that are common with any new service, Apple Music is a really good service. You’d have a point if he was defending Apple Maps, but in this case he’s right. The people bashing this are just people who…
Spotify has been pissing me off lately. They keep adding gimmicky features and design changes, but they still refuse to fix basic stuff that users have been complaining about for years. I mean, who the fuck thought changing the shade of green was a higher priority than organizing Artist view by album instead of just…
It’s a bug that hopefully Apple is working on. Until they fix it, I’m only adding to my library though my phone.
I didn’t need it to be some revolutionary service. I just needed it to be a good service that I enjoyed using. I needed it to fix a lot of the UI and UX issues I had with Spotify. I needed it to have a great library and a good locker service.
I prefer Spotify or Apple Music because playlists from music I already have aren’t the only thing I want. I also love the music discovery they provide.
I travel a lot, so offline listening is a must for me.
1) I HATE ads, especially when they interrupt music.
I’m really happy with it. The UI is great, the navigation is better than any other streaming app I’ve used, and the playlists are really good. Beats 1 is good if you’re into live radio. I’ve never heard Zane Lowe before, and for the half hour or so I listened to it, I thought he was good. Connect is interesting, but…
Android version coming this fall.
I’ve been using BetterTouchTool for snapping. I like it, but it’ll be nice to have the functionality built in.
Already liking the UI so much more than Spotify’s. The fact that I can actually click on an artist and have it be sorted by albums instead of there just being a long list of songs is enough to keep me.
They have improved them since 8.0. 6-8 months ago, they were 100% unusable. Now, I still get bugs, but they’ve improved enough to use. You’re right, Android has had perfectly working keyboards for years, but they had time to improve them. They were pretty damn buggy too when they first came out.
I’m guessing that fix is coming with iOS 9. iOS 9 is supposed to be mainly focused on major stability and reliability improvements.
“But that’s like saying, why should I get a wrist watch to save a few seconds if I have a pocket watch?”
But the question is, is saving that extra step worth $300 - $400? To me, that’s like spending an extra $10,000 on a car to get an extra 5 miles per gallon on gas. Sure, getting 40 mpg is better than getting 35 mpg, but it’s not worth spending an extra $10,000 to get that.
Or smartwatches in general. I still don’t see the point in any of them other than companies desperately trying to find the “next big thing”.
Firefly was different than most other Space Westerns because while stuff like Star Wars, Star Trek and others explored the concept long before it, Firefly focused less on the Sci-Fi elements. It was more of a character study that just happened to take place in space. It’s one of the only space-based sci-fi shows I can…
