They don’t have to convince you to agree with them, they just have to convince you to fear them enough to follow them.

“... because Jamie points out “on iOS”. “
So?
It’s absolute junk on Windows, but I’ve never had a problem with it on my Mac. I have it open right now playing music and it’s currently using 201MB RAM. Safari is using more than that. I can understand the hate for it on Windows, but it runs perfectly fine on Macs. It takes about 2 seconds to open and load everything…
Apparently Shuffle all songs is back in the newest iOS 9 beta.
But that only requires a couple people, not an entire film crew.
An alcohol wipe/screen cleaner will easily take care of that residue.
“But at least those vloggers don’t have poor hitchBOT anymore.”
Um, these guys aren’t the ones who broke hitchBOT. They faked the surveillance video, but only to prank the news.
I thought New Jersey WAS hell.
Depends on how it’s implemented. Apple has successfully used vertical integration in the past - their retail stores for example. They’re allowed to do that so long as they also allow other retailers to sell their products as well. As long as Apple allows people to continue using other carriers with their iPhones, I…
Anything that gives AT&T and Verizon more competition is good.
Or pretty much anyone who works in a professional setting. I make at least a dozen phone calls a day and receive just as many. Double that if I’m on a business trip.
I agree it needs rewritten to make it faster, and it needs an improved UI, but separating apps just does’t make sense. You say let the OS handle the syncing. What about Windows users? Microsoft won’t build Apple media syncing into Windows. Separating apps makes sense if they were just Mac apps, but being cross…
I never understood why people want iTunes separated into multiple apps. People seem to think iTunes is just a music player. It’s not, it’s a media hub. And media hubs are supposed to have a ton of functionality beyond just playing music. If there was a separate app for music, movies, tv shows, podcasts, apps, store,…
Yes, we need a suitable replacement, but we still need to drill in the meantime. Even if we decided not to drill in the Arctic, Russia or China will. And we don’t want to have to buy oil from them. That’s what a lot of people don’t understand. These people aren’t stopping anything. They’re just living in their ideal…
That’s one of the side effects of open source software. If Google wants more leverage, they should go the Microsoft route.
I don’t hate the modern UI. I hated Windows 8 because they prioritized a touch interface over a desktop one. Windows 10 is what Windows 8 should have been.
I’m not sure how Facebook enforces the real name policy in the first place. Several of my friends are using fake names.
“The argument that killing apex predators and/or very large game like rhinos or elephants is also somehow keeping the species alive always makes me laugh. Thanks for the chuckle!”
