There’s also such a thing as HUDs and cameras. Hell, if you can buy Volvos with those things, then I’m sure Bruce Wayne can get it on his Batmobile.

When you need your car to also be a tank, I’m pretty sure a lot of glass is something you try to avoid.
Apple already said it does. It’s basically going to work like Google Play All Access. From their site:
No you can’t. I’ve already explained this to several other commenters. Spotify doesn’t have a locker service. You can play locally stored files in Spotfy, but they don’t get uploaded to Spotify’s servers so you can access them anywhere.
You can play locally stored songs in Spotify, but you can’t upload them to Spotify servers. If you use more than one computer, you have to physically have that song file on both computers. You also can’t add them to your Spotify library. For example, I have a bunch of Tool songs I have stored on my computer. I can…
It wasn’t really Apple whining about that stuff. It was mostly Steve Jobs. Current Apple execs have cracked a couple jokes here and there about it, but nothing to really take them seriously over.
It’s called marketing. It’s their job to use buzz words. No one has ever accused marketing of being accurate. I never understood why people get upset over their use of certain words to describe their products. They’re a business and it’s their job to get people to use their products. If using words like “innovative”…
Yup. The Air 1 just doesn’t have enough RAM to handle that kind of multitasking. Apple should have upgraded the RAM in iPads 3 years ago.
And some of the stuff Windows 10 is getting is stuff OS X had 10 years ago. No company had everything first, and every company copies features from each other.
The one thing, for me, that differentiates it from Spotify is the ability to upload your own music files. The only other service that offers that is Google Play All Access. That, and the fact that Apple’s music library is much, much bigger than Spotify’s.
The songs have to be local, though. They don’t get uploaded to Spotify’s servers and streamed back to you like what Google Play and Apple Music offer.
Everyone talks about things like Siri integration and curated playlists, but for some reason, no one is talking about the one thing that really differentiates it from Spotify - the ability to upload music. There are too many bands that aren’t on Spotify and you can’t upload them if they aren’t. You can play them…
I’ve read before that there’s risk during brain surgery that the patient’s motor functions can be damaged. The purpose of keeping them awake is so they can tell them to move their hands and feet every once in a while to make sure they aren't doing any damage during surgery.
HBO Now. It’s good, but not $15/month good. I’m canceling as soon as this season of Game of Thrones and Silicone Valley are over. Next year, I’ll sign up again for those few months. But if they want to keep me year round, they need to get down to $10.
The Chase Bank app only just got Touch ID last week. Whereas 1Password had it almost immediately. I think the bigger the company, the more red tape bullshit everything has to go though before even the slightest change is made.
Yeah, but it’s all browser-based by default. Then you need a third party player to play the movie outside your browser. I’d rather have a desktop app that automatically saves and organizes everything on my hard drive the second I buy it, and plays it within that same app.
Locally stored files is one of the reasons I prefer iTunes over Google Play. A few weeks ago, a storm knocked out our power for several hours. I just took out my laptop, opened iTunes and watched a couple movies while the power was out.
At home, true. But a lot people like taking their Apple TVs with them when they travel and hotel wifi isn’t exactly the best.
iTunes movies are already stored locally. I’ve got a ton of .m4v files sitting on my hard drive right now that I bought from iTunes.
